Required Documents
Each person must have a passport and a
visa to enter Suriname. That will add about $100 for each person.
Passports must be obtained in the US and
may take several weeks
You must have a tourist visa to enter
Suriname. This must be obtained prior to your arrival. Visas
applications can be obtained through the Suriname Consulate in Miami

Recommended
Immunizations
The following immunizations
are highly recommended:
Yellow Fever
T Booster
Hepatitis A
Hepatitis B
Typhoid (can be taken orally)
Malaria (Mefloquine is generally the medication of choice)
Some of these immunizations require a
series of shots, so this process should be begun as soon as
possible. Malaria is endemic in the region of Suriname to which
you will be traveling. As a result, the anti malarial, Mefloquine,
is a must. Contact your physician about obtaining this
medication and the recommended regimen
